The case for fewer, better materials

Our material palette for any given project rarely runs past four: one structural, one warm, one hard, one soft. Clients occasionally read this as a limitation. We think it’s the opposite — a small palette forces every material to be doing real work, and a room built from real work reads as calm rather than empty.
